Over the years, Rab has developed and refined his blade design so that our Sgian Dubh blades are both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
Our most popular choices of blade are:

Damascus steel: consisting of contrasting steels folded and forged together to give a beautiful and unique blade.

Stainless steel: for a classic look, our Stainless Steel is of a high quality and made in Sheffield.
However we have occasionally used High-carbon knife steels, solid Sterling Silver and Titanium for a custom made Sgian Dubh blade.

Engraving
For an extra personal touch we can engrave the blade of your Sgian Dubh.
We are often asked to engrave initials, a surname, dates, a short inscription, a simple design or a combination of these. For inscriptions, we have a few tried and tested fonts however we can usually engrave most true type fonts. Below are some photos to let you see examples of some of our previous work.
